Help! Getting BIOS Update Warning While Launching World of Warcraft on My New PC

I'm having trouble with my new PC when I try to launch World of Warcraft. A message appears saying, 'World of Warcraft has detected your computer is using an Intel 13th or 14th generation processor that does not have the proper updates installed to address potential processor instability issues. It is highly recommended to update the BIOS on your motherboard to the latest version with Intel's microcode 0x12B or later.' My processor is an Intel Core i7-14700KF, and I'm not sure how serious this issue is or how to fix it. Any advice would be appreciated!

You can check Windows Update; look for 'More updates.' This might help you get the necessary drivers. It’s usually pretty straightforward to update from there.

First off, get the make and model of your PC. You have to check the manufacturer's support page for CPU drivers – that's where you'll find the update. It’s smart to keep all your drivers updated, not just the CPU ones.

Yeah, updating your BIOS is the way to go. Follow the instructions from the manufacturer. If they mention needing a flash drive, grab one just in case, but some updates can be run directly after downloading.

Do I need a flash drive for that, or can I just download the update and run it from there?
