I recently bought a brand new motherboard because my old one started giving me BSOD errors, particularly related to driver issues, after I updated its BIOS. However, after installing the new motherboard, I'm still encountering the same problem. I've attempted troubleshooting by running single sticks of RAM and even replacing my SSD, but nothing has worked yet. Additionally, I'm unable to access safe mode, which prevents me from using the repair function. Here are my specs:
- Intel i9-13900k
- Gigabyte z790 Eagle AX
- Crucial P3 4TB
- WD Blue 500GB SSD (SATA)
- RTX 4080 Founders Edition

It sounds frustrating! Have you tried checking for dump files from the BSODs? They can provide useful insights for diagnosing the issue. If you can boot into Windows or even safe mode, look in C:WindowsMinidump for any crash logs. If you find any, zip them up and share them using a file-sharing service like mediafire or catbox.moe. Multiple dump files help with the analysis!
One thing to consider is whether you did a fresh install of Windows after swapping your motherboard. If the new board isn't identical to the old one, a clean install is usually necessary. Without that, you might be encountering leftover driver issues from your previous system, which could lead to the BSODs continuing. It's worth a try!
I did attempt a clean install, but the installer bluescreens too.
