Help! I Accidentally Erased My Android Camera Photos While Backing Up

I was trying to back up my photos from my Android phone. I connected it to my Windows PC via Bluetooth and opened the file explorer. I attempted to drag the camera folder over to my OneDrive, but when I noticed it was too big (about 6GB), I clicked cancel. Now all my pictures are missing and I can't find them anywhere! Is there any way to recover them?

You might want to try some data recovery software on your phone while it's connected to your PC. Just make sure you haven’t used it much since the files disappeared, as that could overwrite the data you want to recover. Good luck!

Can you recommend a specific app? I've tried a couple already and they didn't work.

It sounds like something went wrong during the transfer. Next time, try connecting your phone with a USB cable instead of Bluetooth. And just a tip, always click 'copy' instead of 'cut' when moving files to avoid this issue!

Thanks! I'll definitely remember that for next time.
