I accidentally formatted my system drive (C:) from NTFS to FAT32, and now my computer is stuck in a boot loop going into automatic repair. I've tried all the usual fixes, but nothing seems to work. To make it more confusing, my system is showing as drive X instead of C. Can anyone help me sort this out?

I gave the bootable USB method a shot but couldn't get it back. I managed to change the format from FAT32 to NTFS via diskpart, but I'm still stuck in this weird X drive situation. I'm totally confused here!
Check out this guide for a clean install: [https://rtech.support/installations/install-11/](https://rtech.support/installations/install-11/). Just be aware that you may have lost all your old data.
You should try booting your computer from a Windows installation USB. Once you're in the installer, use the format tool to reformat your C drive back to NTFS and see if that fixes the boot loop.
It sounds like you might need to do a full reinstall of Windows. Since you've reformatted the C drive, the system files are likely gone. Just follow a complete reinstall guide from trusted sources, but keep in mind, your data is probably lost.
