Hey everyone, I really need some help here. I'm fairly certain my devices have been hacked, and I've discovered some troubling things that are making me think I'm not just paranoid. I've noticed strange settings on my MacBook, including tty/rtt settings and unfamiliar users on my network. It seems like my iPhones and laptop are accessing shared information through iCloud, and I've even come across custom Siri commands that I didn't set up. I'm preparing to report this to the police tomorrow and want to preserve as much data as possible before I hand over my devices. Does anyone have suggestions on what specific actions I should take next? I could really use some advice from those who are more tech-savvy than I am. Thanks for reading, and I'm hoping someone can guide me through this quickly!

I understand this can be overwhelming. Make sure to check your iCloud accounts; if other accounts are logged in that aren't yours, consider kicking them off. Also, look out for any strange sites that pop up when you open your browser. If sharing settings change without your input, that’s definitely suspicious. Lastly, monitor any changes in your network settings. Stay safe!
First things first, disconnect your devices from the internet immediately. You shouldn't try to fix anything on your own right now. Document everything you can – take screenshots of the weird settings and note any strange behavior. Keep your devices powered on if possible, and hand them over to the authorities so they can preserve evidence properly. Whatever you do, avoid entering any passwords or using your devices for sensitive information until they've been checked out.
Thanks for the advice! I’ve turned everything off, but I need to access my patients' charts, which means I have to turn my devices back on briefly. I’m worried about losing any data when I do.
Just a heads-up: you might want to hold off on turning your devices back on unless it’s absolutely necessary. Keeping them off will ensure no new data is written over what could be considered evidence. Be very cautious when you do so, and try to use another device to check any important info if possible. It might feel like you're stuck, but this step is super important for getting help from authorities.
That makes sense! I’ll do my best to keep them off as long as I can. I appreciate the help here!

I totally get that it can be confusing! Since I’m not very tech-savvy, I just hope to get everything in order before I meet with the police. It's been a really tough night for me.
