A week ago, I turned on my laptop like usual, but it suddenly prompted me for a BitLocker recovery key. I've searched everywhere, and it's not saved in my Microsoft account. Since I purchased the laptop myself, there's no workplace administrator who could assist me with it. At this point, I accepted that I might have to reset the laptop and lose all my data because nothing else seemed to work. However, I've attempted to perform a reset, both keeping and deleting my files, and I keep encountering errors that prevent the reset from completing. My laptop is currently unusable, and I can't afford a new one. I'm at a loss for what to do next. Is there anyone out there who can help me?

Honestly, if you don't have the recovery key, chances of getting into your data are slim. If you're okay with losing everything, you could try reinstalling Windows, but it seems like you've already hit some snags with that. Seems like your hard drive might need checking out.
It sounds like you might be dealing with a hard drive failure rather than just the BitLocker issue. Have you tried booting into the recovery environment? You can use the command line there to check if you can access your drive partitions.
