Hey everyone! I just got hired as the IT manager at a startup, and I'm starting to feel like I've walked into a bit of a circus. The previous IT guy was a consultant, and now I'm the only one responsible for figuring this all out. I'm trying to set up on-prem Active Directory and Azure Entra for user accounts and devices, but with all the chaos and numerous ongoing projects, I'm feeling seriously overwhelmed. I've been researching like crazy for the past two days, and it seems like I should have it down, but honestly, it feels like too much. Any advice or guidance from this community would be greatly appreciated!

Startups and on-prem Active Directory don’t usually mix well. I’d recommend looking into Entra ID instead; it's more adaptable, especially for remote and hybrid setups. It might solve a lot of your issues right off the bat.
That’s a great point! But we have around 100 people onsite currently, and we're expecting to double or triple the user base soon.
