I've got an issue with my monitor where I've noticed a faint horizontal line that appears when I run a color test on the screen. I recently used a test from Eizo that fills the screen with different colors to check for display problems. Here's what I found:
1. The line is light blue when the screen is white.
2. It turns black when the screen is red.
3. It's invisible on green.
4. It's dark blue on blue.
5. It's also invisible on black.
To make things worse, I saw another faint horizontal line below the first one today. They're only noticeable on certain colors like red, blue, and white. Is there any way to fix this?

It sounds like you have a row of dead pixels on your monitor, which is essentially a display malfunction. Unfortunately, once a pixel is dead, there's not much that can be done to fix it. Sometimes dead pixels can appear due to manufacturing defects or physical damage, and it's not unusual for more to develop over time, especially in older monitors.
I get it. So there's really no solution, huh? What might have caused them to show up, though? And why did another one pop up overnight?
