I'm struggling with an issue related to AWS MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). Initially, I set it up correctly and could log in without any problems. However, now the MFA codes aren't working at all. To make matters worse, the phone number linked to the account is one I don't recognize; it's likely an old number that's no longer active. I'm receiving emails at the registered address, but it's basically a dead inbox since I can't send emails from there. I've reached out to AWS support multiple times, but they haven't provided any useful solutions, and my recent support cases seem to be falling on deaf ears. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? I can verify ownership of the account, but getting a response from AWS has been impossible so far. Once I regain access, I'm planning to sort everything out to prevent this from happening again.

That sounds frustrating! In the past, I've had success by using different communication channels, like AWS forums or even reaching out via their social media accounts. Sometimes a tweet can get a quicker response!
I’m really sorry to hear you're dealing with this. While I can’t help with account specifics, you should definitely try reaching out to the MFA team directly through the AWS contact link they provide. Sometimes those requests get more attention. Hang in there!
Yeah, I agree. It took me a couple of tries to get through, but persistence seems to pay off. Definitely reach out to them directly!

Thanks for the tip! I'll try reaching out on social media. Can't hurt to give it a go!
