Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 2700X paired with a GTX 2060 and 16GB of RAM, but I'm finding it struggles with the latest games even at medium settings. I also do a bit of video and photo editing as well as 3D modeling. I'm looking at upgrading to a Ryzen 5 7600X and a GPU like the 4060 Ti or 5060 Ti (since they're priced similarly), along with bumping my RAM up to 32GB. Does this sound like a solid upgrade? Any other suggestions? I'm still pretty new to building PCs, so I appreciate any advice you can give! 🙂

I think you can definitely maximize your budget and get some better components. €1400 is about $1600, which gives you some leeway. How important is the visual aspect for you? Are you aiming purely for performance, or do you want it to look nice too?
What’s your current monitor setup like?
I have a 1080p 240Hz monitor right now, but I might upgrade to a 1440p or 4K monitor soon.
If you're playing more demanding games, you might want to consider a more powerful CPU too. Something like a 5060 Ti or even a 9060 XT along with a Ryzen 9 7900X3D could be worthwhile. Just keep in mind that a lot of your budget may go into a high-end GPU, so if you don't need the best graphics, you can allocate more to other components.
I care about looks but I'm leaning towards a performance-focused build with minimal RGB. I’m thinking a sleek black build will suit me well.
