I recently completed the CS50x course and I'm exploring four exciting fields: web development, data science, cyber security, and information security. Out of these, I'm really drawn to cyber security and information security. However, I'd love to get some insights about the job market and future prospects in both security and data science. Could anyone share information about salary expectations, competition in these fields, and any advice for someone just starting out? I'm serious about my career and eager to learn more. Thanks a lot for your help!

Cybersecurity and information security are definitely in high demand, especially with the increasing number of data breaches happening today. Data science is booming too, emphasizing analytics and machine learning. Both fields can offer solid salaries! Just keep in mind, security roles often require certifications, like the CISSP. For data science, getting comfortable with Python and tools like Pandas is super helpful. I suggest looking for internships to gain hands-on experience and build your network. You've got this!

I'm confused about your question — are you replying to a comment from your previous post? Serious inquiries deserve clear context!

No, not really! I just wanted to clarify my points as I didn't feel understood in the last post. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but I'm just trying to get some advice here.
