I'm in the process of building my new PC and I'm trying to pick the right water cooler from these four options. The MSI MAG A15 is the cheapest, while the Gigabyte Aorus 360 Waterforce II costs about $20 more. The last two models are around $35 pricier than the A15. I really need some insights on the differences in their specs and performance. Additionally, any tips on setting up good airflow in my build would be greatly appreciated since I'm pretty new to PC building. Here are the water cooler options:
- MSI MAG A15 Coreliquid 360
- Gigabyte Aorus 360 Waterforce II
- MSI MAG Coreliquid I360
- MSI MAG Coreliquid E360
For context, my PC specs include a Ryzen 7 9800x3d, an RX 9060 XT 16GB (planning to upgrade to a 9070 XT 16GB), 16GB of DDR5 6000MHz RAM (with plans to add more), an 850W power supply, a B850 Force V2 motherboard, and a Corsair 4000D RS case that comes with three fans. I also have a Kingston NV2 1TB SSD.

I've got the A15 on my setup with the 9800x3d, and I think it performs pretty well overall. My temperatures stay low, except for a startup temp that can be pretty high. If I had to buy again, I’d consider the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 – while it doesn't have RGB, the thicker radiator gives it an edge.
Those are all solid choices! It really comes down to your personal preference and what you're willing to spend. If you want great aesthetics, water coolers definitely win. Just keep in mind that lower prices might reflect some performance differences, so think about what’s most important to you in terms of cooling and design.
If you're worried about temperature differences, you might not see a huge gap between those coolers in day-to-day use. Sticking with the cheaper option could be a smart move for your build! Just make sure you have good airflow with your setup, which can make a big difference!
