My old gaming PC finally gave up on me, and I need to get a new one for both work and gaming. I spend a lot of time programming, but I also play games like WoW, OSRS, and LoL. I want something that can handle newer games too. Here's a link to my current build I'm considering: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3rChNz. I'd love to get some feedback or any suggestions to improve it!

Honestly, it sounds like you're just itching to build a new PC! Remember, if just one part is failing, you can usually replace it instead of overhauling everything. Your PSU, SSD, or GPU could still be good, so maybe a CPU, RAM, and motherboard upgrade would suffice for around 1.2K.

True, but my PC is already 6 years old. With the CPU cooler dying, it’s probably time for a full upgrade.

A few tips: 1) Get a retail copy of Windows instead of OEM. 2) The NH-D15 cooler is bulky; it might clash with the RAM. Consider something like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit instead. 3) Go for DDR5-6000 CL30—it'll likely be more stable and perform better than the 6400.

Good call! What do you think about the Phantom vs an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360?

Have you thought about going for a 5090 build? If you can stretch your budget a bit, that might be possible! Just keep in mind, it could mean cutting costs on other components.

Yeah, but it might not be the best move. You’d have to downgrade other parts to make it fit your budget.

You probably don’t need to spend 3500 euros for the games you're playing. A solid setup can be done for less than that!
