I'm new to building PCs and have put together a list of components that fit my budget of about ₹1.2 Lakhs. Here's what I'm planning to buy, and I'd love some advice on how to improve this setup for optimal performance, or if there are better alternatives for any of the parts. Here's my current build:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (6C/12T) - ₹18,500
- **GPU**: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT (16GB) - ₹50,000
- **Motherboard**: MSI B650M-A WiFi (DDR5) - ₹14,000
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (16x2) DDR5 6000MHz - ₹11,000
- **Storage**: WD Black SN770 1TB NVMe SSD - ₹7,500
- **PSU**: Deepcool PM750D 750W 80+ Gold - ₹6,500
- **Case**: Lian Li Lancool 215 (RGB) - ₹6,500
- **CPU Cooler**: Deepcool AK400 (Air Cooler) - ₹2,500
Total: ₹1,16,500. Any suggestions for better parts or how to make this build more cost-effective?

You might want to swap the motherboard for the MSI B650M Gaming Plus Wifi; it's got a better VRM design (10 phases, way more reliable). Also, I suggest checking places online for the RX 7800 XT; you could find it under ₹45k. For RAM, look for cheaper 6000MHz CL30 kits—they can go for under ₹10k. Another tip is to get the modular version of the PSU, the Deepcool PN750M. Overall, your build is solid, just a few tweaks can enhance it!
What’s the big deal with a modular PSU compared to a non-modular one? Is it really worth the extra cash?
Consider getting the MSI Gaming WiFi motherboard for around ₹10k, and opt for Teamgroup or G.Skill RAM at ₹9.5k with 6000MHz. Also, if you want to save some cash, check out the SN500 for around ₹5.5k. If you're flexible with your budget, adding the RX 9070 XT is a great upgrade option. Just make sure to keep an eye on prices to stay within your limit!
I like the idea of upgrading to the RX 9070 XT, but what's the best price you've found for it? I'm worried about breaking my budget!
I love how handy that site is for price tracking! Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for the feedback! That upgraded motherboard sounds great. Do you think spending a bit more on the RX 7800 XT is worth it based on performance?
