I've been dealing with an irritating issue where my computer randomly black screens and restarts. I've tried a ton of solutions without success. I've replaced the power supply, performed a fresh Windows installation, ran memtest86 on my RAM, and even updated my BIOS. My setup includes an Intel H511-VD4 motherboard, 16GB RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 graphics card, all purchased from Amazon. Whenever I run the 'sfc /scannow' command in the command prompt, it reports corrupt files and claims to fix them, but the same issue occurs upon subsequent scans. I'm starting to believe that the scan isn't actually resolving the corrupted files. I'm out of ideas, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You might want to try running the command 'dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth' before running the sfc command again. This can help repair the image store that the sfc command uses to fix files. Just a heads up, though – it might not solve your black screen and restart issue, which could actually be the root cause of those corrupt files in the first place. Personally, I suspect a failing power supply could be behind all this, so I’d check that first.
Definitely give that dism command a shot! If your source files are corrupted, the sfc scan won’t be able to fix them properly. That said, if your PC is crashing frequently, it might have caused the corruption in the first place. Make sure to investigate that power supply issue; it’s often overlooked!
