I've been struggling with a frustrating issue on my computer where it keeps showing 'No internet, secured'. This has been going on for days. I managed to temporarily fix it after spending a whole day tinkering, but after a recent update, the problem came back. My other devices are online without any issues, and my WiFi seems to work fine based on tests. However, I'm unable to access certain applications or download games. Here's a rundown of everything I've tried, but nothing has worked:
- Adjusted DNS settings
- Hard reset on my Verizon internet gateway router
- Installed Ethernet (still the same issue)
- Flushed DNS and messed with ipconfig in command prompt
- Hard reset of WiFi
- Reinstalled Windows 11
When I check settings, it says 'No internet access', but the troubleshooter says I'm connected just fine! I can connect to different WiFis without any issues. I wish I could attach screenshots, but that's not possible since I'm having this issue on my PC.
Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions! Unfortunately, none of them worked for me. What finally fixed it was reverting my PC to a previous Windows build and doing a hard reset while keeping my files intact. It's been annoying but it worked! Hopefully, this can help someone else out there!

Check your internet settings and look for LAN settings. Make sure the 'auto-detect settings' box is checked. Also, if you have a mobile phone, try connecting your computer to your phone’s hotspot. This way, you can check if it’s a specific issue with your WiFi at home.
It's super frustrating dealing with that kind of error! I had a similar issue before. First, make sure to flush your DNS and reset the network adapter—sometimes that can clear up weird connectivity bugs. Good luck!
Thanks! I tried that, but sadly it didn’t solve my problem.
Have you tried uninstalling your network adapter from the Device Manager? Just delete it and reboot your computer. It should automatically reinstall when you start up again. Just be prepared to reconnect to your WiFi afterward!
I did that, but when I restarted, it didn’t reinstall automatically. I had to scan for hardware changes to get it back, but it still says 'No internet, secured'.
If you haven't yet, set your DNS settings to automatic instead of a specific address. Sometimes it works better that way!
I tried automatic and also set it manually to Google's DNS, but neither worked. Appreciate the advice!
I found the auto-detect settings, and it's already checked. I did try connecting to a hotspot, and it worked fine, so it's definitely something with my home setup.
