Help! My CPU is Overheating – Is My Liquid Cooler Failing?

I've been having some serious overheating issues with my CPU, and I think my liquid cooler might be on the fritz. I'm using a Kraken X63 liquid cooler, and here are my specs:
- 4000D Airflow mid-tower case
- Ryzen 7 5800X CPU
- GeForce 3060 VENTUS 3X 12G OC GPU
- 4 case fans (1 intake at the back, 3 exhaust at the front)
- Corsair RM750 power supply

After four years of use, my PC suddenly started giving me CPU overheating alerts, and it seems like the cooler isn't working right. In the BIOS, it shows "Pump 1 1400 RPM," but my CPU temperature is still hitting 90+ degrees. I've already replaced the thermal paste twice.

What type of cooler should I consider buying that would suit my CPU? Should I stick with liquid cooling or switch to air cooling? Any advice would be super helpful! Thanks!

First off, make sure you check your fan connections and if the fans themselves are clean. Sometimes dust can really mess things up. If everything checks out and you're still seeing high temperatures, it’s likely your cooler is just aging out. Liquid coolers usually have a lifespan of about 5 years, so it might be time to replace it with something new.

Yeah, I've been using my cooler for a couple of years without any issues too. I’ll double-check the connections, but it seems like it could be dying on me.
