Help! My Ethernet Cable Won’t Connect to My PC

I'm having trouble with my Ethernet cable not showing up on my PC. It doesn't recognize that it's connected at all, and without Wi-Fi, I can't get online. I've already tested the cable, and it works fine. I even restarted my modem, but that didn't help. Can anyone offer some advice?

I would need more details. Is your network card enabled and are the drivers installed? Also, what's the cable plugged into? Any indicator lights on the port? Just so you know, if your wired connection isn’t working, it shouldn’t say 'connected without Wi-Fi'—that usually refers to wireless connections.

Try hitting the Windows key + R, then type in 'ncpa.cpl'. From there, right-click on your Ethernet adapter, disable it, and then enable it again. If that doesn’t work, check your Device Manager for any issues like a yellow triangle. If you see that, it might be time to update your LAN drivers from your laptop or motherboard manufacturer's site.
