Should I Salvage Parts from My Current PC or Go for a New Build?

I've been upgrading my PC for several years now, but I'm currently stuck trying to play games at 1440p. My specs are the following: Intel i7 10700F CPU, MSI Z490 Gaming Plus motherboard, NVIDIA GTX 3060Ti GPU, 16GB Corsair LPX DDR4 RAM, a 250GB Samsung 870 EVO SATA drive and a 1TB 970 EVO M.2 for memory, and a Corsair CV650 power supply. Lately, I've experienced frequent crashes and freezes, and I'm going to reinstall Windows to see if that helps with the bloat. I'm looking for advice on whether it's worth it to heavily invest in upgrades for my current setup, or if I should just start fresh with a new PC build. Thanks in advance for your help!

You can definitely game at 1440p with your 3060Ti, it should handle it fine. If you're feeling the need to upgrade, maybe consider swapping in an RX 9070 or RTX 5070. Your RAM is still decent, and with current prices, it's not a must to upgrade to 32GB right away. And honestly, you could probably just sort out your current issues with a Windows reinstall!

I was running an older 980Ti until very recently, so the 3060Ti should still serve you well! Just don't forget about that GPU upgrade if you go for one!
