I'm having trouble getting my games to go fullscreen on Windows 11. I have a keyboard separate from my screen, and for the game I'm trying to play, it says to press F4 to go fullscreen. I click it, and the game goes fullscreen for just a second before closing again. What should I do?

Just to add, if all else fails, you can usually play games in windowed mode instead. It’s not ideal, but at least you can still play without the fullscreen drama!
Also, which game are you having this issue with? For example, I had a similar problem with 'Undertale Yellow' and 'Five Nights at Frickbears 3.' Both games would initially go fullscreen and then shut down, so I'm curious if yours is doing the same thing.
It sounds like the game is crashing right after transitioning to fullscreen. This can often be caused by outdated graphics drivers. I recommend updating your GPU drivers first. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try right-clicking on the game's .exe file, going to Properties, then Compatibility, and disabling fullscreen optimizations. Also, just a heads up, pressing F4 might sometimes trigger an Alt+F4, which can close the game, so be sure you're not accidentally quitting.
