Hey folks,
I recently picked up an iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 26.2, and I'm going a bit nuts over this buzzing issue I'm experiencing.
Here's the breakdown:
- Voice Memos: There's a slight buzzing sound.
- Messenger audio messages: The buzzing is louder here.
- Instagram audio messages: Yeah, buzzing as well.
- Regular Camera videos: Also, buzzing.
- WhatsApp videos: Absolutely perfect sound!
- Calls and received audio messages: Crystal clear!
I've tried a few things to fix it: restarting the phone, updating apps, disabling noise cancellation, and even resetting all settings, but nothing has worked. It seems like this might be a software or bug issue since WhatsApp videos sound perfect.
So I'm wondering:
1. Has anyone else faced this buzzing problem?
2. Any tips to improve my recordings until Apple gets around to fixing it?
Thanks a lot! I'm really starting to lose my mind over this.

It sounds like there might be an issue with one of the microphones on your phone. The iPhone has multiple mics, and if one isn't working correctly, it could cause the buzzing you’re hearing in those apps. Try recording in a quiet space to see if that changes anything. Also, consider reaching out to Apple Support for assistance.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely give that a try and see if recording in a quieter environment helps.
