Help! My Laptop Can’t Boot into Linux or Windows After Restart

I'm having a tough time with my Asus E203M notebook that runs both Windows 10 and Bodhi Linux. After not using it for three days, my Bodhi Linux installation won't boot up anymore, and I can't access the Windows option either. I think it might be a hardware issue, possibly related to the eMMC cache.

When I try to boot, I get some errors like 'cache flush error 110 linux' and it mentions missing modules. I was hoping to just overwrite everything and reinstall Bodhi Linux, but I keep running into 'input/output error' messages and it doesn't recognize the existing partitions.

Even though I can see the drive when I'm trying out Linux from a USB stick, I can't run the terminal from that location—only from the Bodhi section. I'm really stuck and would appreciate any advice on how to mount the drives or how to get around this issue!

It sounds like a bit of a nightmare! Have you checked out some installation tips for Linux? Sometimes, when you try to install, doing it while connected to an Ethernet cable helps a lot. And don't forget to remove the USB stick afterward!
