Help! My Laptop is Getting Frequent BSODs and Crashing

Hey everyone,

I'm experiencing some serious issues with my laptop lately, getting a ton of BSODs and strange behavior that I can't quite put my finger on. Here's what's been going on:

- I've been getting Chrome crashes, especially with a "STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION" error when watching YouTube.
- Sometimes, Chrome just closes unexpectedly, which even changes my laptop's thermal mode to custom instead of my usual performance setting.
- I encounter random BSODs while using YouTube or browsing sites like ChatGPT.
- Occasionally, my laptop crashes overnight; I wake up to find it has restarted, probably due to a BSOD while idle.
- I don't overclock, though I do use network boost for gaming sometimes.
- I regularly connect an HDMI cable for my college work, and I'm wondering if that could play a role in these issues.
- I just started using VirtualBox for my OS class; could that be causing these crashes?

The BSOD stop codes I've noted are:
- `PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA` `0x50`
- `IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL` `0x0A`
- `SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION` `0x3B`

Crash reports mention drivers like `ntoskrnl.exe` and `Ntfs.sys`. My system is a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i with an i9-13900HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.

I've already run `sfc /scannow` (no issues found), reinstalled my NVIDIA drivers, and updated my OS and BIOS using Lenovo Vantage.

I've attached the recent minidump files if that helps. Here's what I'm hoping to figure out:
1. Could using an HDMI cable trigger the BSODs?
2. Is this behavior indicative of bad RAM, or should I be looking into other issues?
3. What are the next steps I can take to isolate or fix this problem?

Thanks for any guidance!

Have you considered disabling the Network Boost feature? It can sometimes lead to BSODs, especially on Lenovo laptops. Try turning that off and see if your crashing issues improve. Some users have reported that it helped their stability significantly during usage.

I've turned off Network Boost, but I'm still dealing with random Chrome crashes while working on my assignments. It’s frustrating!

First off, make sure to grab those dump files since they'll help with diagnosing your BSODs. You can find them in `C:WindowsMinidump`. If you haven't already, zip that folder and upload it so we can analyze it. The more dump files we have, the better we'll understand what’s going on. If you need help with zipping, just right-click the folder and choose 'Send to -> Compressed (Zipped) folder'.
