I was playing CS2 without any issues, but suddenly my laptop froze. I powered it off using the power button, and when I turned it back on, it got stuck on the startup screen. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I shut it down again and tried to restart it after an hour, but it was still stuck on the startup screen. Eventually, I got the blue screen of death, which said it would restart, but now I'm back to the startup screen again. What should I do?

It sounds frustrating! First things first, if you can manage to boot into Windows normally or access Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any dump files. These are essential for diagnosing BSOD issues. If you find any dump files, zip them up and upload to a file-sharing site like catbox.moe. If not, you might want to follow some guides online to configure your system to create small memory dumps going forward.
It could just be a messed-up Windows installation, which means you might need to reinstall it using a USB drive. On the other hand, it could be a hardware issue, like a faulty drive, RAM, or GPU. It’s worth checking both possibilities to narrow down the cause.

I recently disabled the Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator; could that be causing the problem?
