Help! My Laptop is Stuck in a Reboot Loop After Trying to Fix USB Issues

Hey everyone! I recently reset my laptop, and since then, my USB root hub has completely stopped working. I tried various tutorials and checked many online posts for help, but nothing seemed to work. Out of desperation, I asked ChatGPT for assistance, which unfortunately led to messing things up even more. After executing some commands, I found myself facing a situation where my Windows boot manager won't load at all. Now, every time I attempt to power on my laptop, it just goes into an endless reboot cycle. I thought resetting the PC might help, but it only made things worse. Currently, my laptop is stuck in BIOS. I wonder if there's any chance to fix it or if I should just accept my losses due to my mistakes with ChatGPT. What can I do to recover my laptop?

It sounds frustrating! First off, check if the USB port itself is physically damaged. If not, it might still be possible to boot your laptop from a USB drive created on a different computer. You’ll need to put Windows installation files onto that USB. Don't forget to include any necessary drivers, especially for your storage and Wi-Fi, as your laptop might need those to recognize the USB during installation. You can find detailed steps on creating the bootable USB on Microsoft's support site.

I agree with FixItFelix! Before diving deeper, see if you can physically inspect the USB port. If it seems okay, using a bootable USB stick should get things moving again. If your laptop is stuck in BIOS, though, ensure the boot order is set to prioritize USB. And once you have everything sorted, don't forget to always keep backups of important files!

You definitely have options still! If it turns out that the USB ports are faulty, you might look into using a different method to repair Windows, like connecting a monitor or keyboard that could help with diagnostics. It's a good idea to check out some YouTube tutorials for specific recovery options tailored to your laptop model. Don't lose hope!
