I've been having trouble with my Alienware m16 R2 ever since it automatically restarted for an update about a week ago. Now, it keeps telling me there's a pending update that hasn't been installed. I've shut it down and restarted it several times, but the issue persists. Even more annoying, my laptop keeps restarting on its own when I close it. What can I do to resolve this? The update in question is the "2025-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11, version 25H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5070773) (26200.6901)."

If Microsoft is the culprit, they usually take a bit of time to address these kinds of update problems. It could be worth checking their forums or official channels for any announcements about fix updates. Hopefully, they'll get it sorted out quickly!
It sounds like you're facing a common issue with the update process. Sometimes, Microsoft has glitches in their updates that can mess with rebooting. It's likely that they’ll roll out a fix soon since this has happened to others too. I recommend keeping your system backed up in the meantime, just in case you need to make bigger changes later on.
