Hey everyone, I'm really hoping to get some advice here. My Lenovo ThinkPad shut down unexpectedly while I was gaming a few days ago. Usually, I can just hold down the power button for a while to restart it, but this time that hasn't worked. I've tried holding it down for minutes, and no luck. I connected my laptop to a TV with an HDMI cable, but the TV just showed 'No Signal' and didn't display anything from the laptop. The power light is still on, but the screen remains completely black. I even thought about letting the battery drain completely, but it's been almost a week and the power light is still glowing. Any ideas on what else I can try? I can provide a picture if that would help!

Have you checked if the power adapter is functioning? Sometimes the charging cable could be the problem. Try using it on another device if you can. If the laptop still doesn't turn on, it might be a hardware issue like a faulty motherboard.
First off, check if any keys on the keyboard are lit besides the power button. If nothing else is on, it might indicate a deeper issue. You could also try removing the battery (if it's removable) and holding the power button for 30 seconds to reset. Plug it back in without the battery and see if it turns on.
