I updated my drivers last night, and now my PC won't boot properly. I can only access the BIOS, but then I just get a blank screen with no output. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this? Is a reinstall necessary?

If you're not seeing the GRUB menu at all, you might need to boot from a USB installer and use the "Boot Repair" tool available there. Also, make sure to turn off Secure Boot in your BIOS settings, as it can stop third-party drivers from loading properly.

What drivers did you update and how did you do it? There's a chance we can get to the bottom of this with some details.

I accessed the GRUB menu by repeatedly pressing left shift during startup. From there, I rolled back the kernel to a point before the update.

First off, check your BIOS settings to make sure your Linux Mint drive is still set as the primary boot device. If everything looks good there, I recommend asking in the Linux Mint forums. They have a great community that can offer some solid help. Good luck!
