Help! My Minecraft server can’t connect to the port after relocating my PC

I recently reconfigured one of my old computers to run a 24/7 Minecraft server, which is right next to my primary PC. Both machines are connected via a Deco mesh network that provides Ethernet. However, when I moved my PC closer to the router for a more stable connection, I attempted to launch the Minecraft server only to receive an error saying it couldn't connect to the designated port. I'm using playit.gg to make the server accessible to others. My question is, do the router and mesh hubs use different IPs and ports? Is there a way to transfer the existing port from my old setup to the router, or will I need to start from scratch and create a new server under the router's network settings?

It sounds like the server can't connect to the port because it might already be in use or the server is still running in the background. To check if it's running, you can look into your server's task manager or restart your computer to clear it up. It's probably not a network issue because of your setup. Just make sure the server isn’t trying to connect to the old port you had before.

Thanks for the tip! Do you know how I could completely clear the old port, or where else I might find help with that?
