I'm having a major issue with my PC. After I turn it on, my monitor begins to flicker roughly one minute in, and then it freezes after about 50 to 60 seconds. I really need some help figuring out what's going on!

Hey, it sounds like a frustrating issue! Here are some steps you can try:
1. Check your monitor and cables - maybe swap out your HDMI or DisplayPort cable for a different one. If you have another monitor or TV, connect your PC to that to see if the same thing happens.
2. If you have a graphics card, try reseating it. Power down, unplug, and carefully remove and reinsert the GPU, ensuring everything's connected properly.
3. Don't forget to take a look at your RAM sticks! Remove and reseat them, and you can also try booting with one stick at a time.
4. Last but not least, consider your power supply. A failing PSU might cause problems when your GPU or CPU is under load. Pay attention to any sounds or dips in power when your screen freezes!
This could be caused by several issues. When you reboot your PC, does it still happen immediately? Or does waiting a bit seem to help? Sometimes, letting the system rest for a few minutes can make a difference, as you've discovered by plugging everything back in and cleaning out the dust. Just keep an eye on it to see if it stays stable!
Usually, it freezes after about 2 minutes, but since I've plugged everything back in and cleaned it, it hasn't happened yet. Fingers crossed!

I tried the first step with a different cable, and so far, my monitor hasn't flickered in over 5 minutes!
