I was tweaking my RAM settings because they weren't running at the right speed (3600MHz). I enabled XMP, which should ideally boost it to the appropriate speed, but I didn't see much improvement. After that, I followed a tutorial to manually adjust the RAM speed to 3600MHz, but I think I messed up when exiting the BIOS because my monitor stopped receiving any signal from the PC. I read that removing the CMOS battery for about 10 minutes might reset the BIOS and solve the monitor issue, but I'm a bit clueless about BIOS settings, having just changed them for the first time yesterday. Is taking out the CMOS battery really the right move, or could this be a different problem?

You definitely need to clear the BIOS settings to fix this. Check your motherboard's manual for the specific steps on how to do it properly. This often involves removing the CMOS battery, which should reset everything back to default.

I can't even see the BIOS on my screen! I've read that removing the battery should work without needing to access BIOS, but do you know if that really is the right approach?
