Help! My New PC Games Keep Crashing

I just built a new PC and I'm running into some serious issues with games constantly crashing. They usually run fine for about an hour, but after the first crash, the time between crashes gets shorter until I'm down to about 5-10 minutes before the next one hits. I've stress-tested my GPU with FurMark, my CPU with CineBench, and my RAM using MemTest86, and everything checked out well. The temperatures are also good, with my CPU staying under 90°C and my GPU below 60°C. Here are my specs:

- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus Wifi
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600x
- GPU: AERO RTX 5080
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x16gb
- PSU: ASRock 1000W 80 Plus Gold
- Storage: 2TB Crucial P3 Plus
- OS: Windows 11

I really need some help figuring this out. Thanks!

Have you checked if your BIOS and drivers are up to date? Sometimes that can cause issues.

My BIOS is on version F33 and all my drivers are updated.

That sounds like it could be a cooling issue, but if your temps are good, it might be something else.

Yeah, all my temps are solid, so I’m not sure what’s going wrong.

I had the same issue a while back. Try running OCCT for about an hour and see what it picks up. I discovered that the RAM profile in my BIOS was misconfigured, and once I fixed that, everything worked perfectly!

Do you have similar RAM? What profile did you switch to? I’m currently using the XMP profile.

What games are crashing for you? Also, have you reinstalled Windows or are you using a riser cable for your GPU?

GameSeeker88 -

It’s just about any game, like Marvel Rivals, Valorant, Apex Legends, and Cyberpunk.
