I'm in a bit of a crisis with my new PC build. I'm using an ASUS TUF GAMING B860M-PLUS motherboard, an Intel Core Ultra 5 245k CPU, and the Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 6000MHz RAM. The issue I'm facing is that when I try to boot up, the CPU and DRAM LEDs flash, and then nothing happens—no display, no post. I've already replaced the motherboard, cleared the CMOS multiple times, and tested every RAM slot with just one stick of the Patriot RAM. As a last resort, I tried Kingston Fury 5200MHz RAM, and it booted up without any problems, which clearly indicates that there's an issue with the Patriot RAM. It won't even operate at 4800MHz. I'm really looking for any BIOS tricks or voltage settings I might be missing to get this RAM working. Should I just accept defeat and return it? I'm open to any suggestions or advice!

Before you give up, do you have access to a different motherboard where you could test the Patriot RAM? It might help confirm whether the RAM is indeed faulty or if it's a compatibility issue with your current setup.
If the Patriot RAM is causing all these problems, it might be best to consider returning it. Sometimes, RAM just doesn't play nicely with certain setups, and you have already gone through a lot of troubleshooting. Unless there's a specific voltage setting that matches your RAM requirements, it might just be faulty. Keep that Kingston RAM as a reliable option if you can!
Totally agree. It's a bummer, but not all RAM is compatible with every motherboard. Definitely look into getting a different brand.

I wish I had another motherboard to test it on, but I'm stuck with this one for now.
