I recently upgraded my RAM after confirming it was compatible with my motherboard. However, after installing the new RAM, my computer doesn't display anything on the screen. I've tried putting the old RAM back in, but it still won't work. The mouse lights up, and the fans are very loud when the computer starts, but I only see a blue power button that switches to orange after a 'no signal' message flashes. Previously, the screen would show 'no signal' for a couple of seconds before displaying properly, but now it doesn't even do that. I'm worried I might have damaged something during installation. What should I do?

There really isn't any new DDR3 RAM on the market anymore unless you got a second-hand kit or something that was just stored for ages!
It sounds like your new RAM might not be seated properly. Make sure it's clicked in securely on both sides. If you can, post a picture for us to take a look.
You might have accidentally purchased ECC memory or a memory density that's too high for your setup. Can you provide your specs?
Are you using DDR5 RAM? If so, it could just be memory training, which can take a bit of time. Just give it a few minutes and see if it resolves itself.
Can you list all the components you're using, both old and new? We need model numbers, not just vague descriptions. It would be super helpful if you could get a link to your build on pcpartpicker.com as well.

Is there a chance I can still access the BIOS?
