I recently bought a Samsung EVO 870 SATA 500GB SSD for my Lenovo Ideapad 320. I installed it correctly and booted up my PC with a USB drive to install Windows. Everything seemed fine initially and Windows installed without issues.
However, after installing several drivers using Driver Booster, my laptop requested a restart. Before shutting down, I encountered a Blue Screen with a "MEMORY MANAGEMENT" error. After that, the laptop couldn't detect the SSD to boot from. Now the SSD isn't showing up in BIOS, and despite trying to set boot priorities, nothing worked. Just to double-check, I put my old HDD back in, and everything worked fine. I even tried connecting the new SSD externally using an adapter, but Windows doesn't recognize it even in Disk Management.
Is there a chance the SSD is damaged, or could this be a software issue? I'd appreciate any guidance!

Before jumping to conclusions about the SSD being faulty, have you checked for dump files after the BSOD? If you can boot into Safe Mode, go to C:WindowsMinidump and see if there are any crash logs there. These can provide clues about what's going wrong and help in diagnosing the problem.
It sounds like there might be an issue with the SSD itself. Just to confirm, have you tried connecting it to another computer or a different USB adapter? Sometimes that helps identify if it's a problem with the SSD or the laptop. If it's not detected anywhere else, it could be faulty.

Yes, I connected it to both a Mac and a different Windows laptop, but unfortunately, it still doesn't boot.
