Help! My PC is Connected to WiFi but No Internet Access

I'm having trouble with my PC's internet connection. It shows that I'm connected to the WiFi, but I'm not getting any actual internet access. Interestingly, my phone is connected to the same WiFi network and works just fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Just to clarify, are you using a WiFi dongle or is your PC wireless built-in? If the driver isn’t working properly, it may need a reinstall. If the connection says you're connected with full bars but no internet, sometimes forgetting the network and reconnecting can help.

You might want to try a couple of commands in the command prompt. Run "ipconfig /release" followed by "ipconfig /renew" as an admin. If that doesn’t do the trick, check the network adapter drivers in Device Manager to see if they need an update.

If you're having trouble with those command prompts, don't worry! To check your drivers, go to Device Manager, find the network adapters section, and look for your adapter. If it’s not functioning properly, you might need to reinstall the driver.
