Help! My PC is Stuck on Automatic Repair – What Should I Do?

I recently updated my Windows 10, and it went to a screen that looked like the one in the image I shared, but the spinning wheel was actually spinning at first. After waiting for several hours, I got impatient and held down the power button to turn it off. Now, when I turn it back on, it says it's starting an automatic repair, but it's frozen at the same screen with no movement for about two hours. I have a flash drive with Windows 10 installation media ready, but I'm worried about losing the data on my main drive. Is there any way I can use this installation media to repair Windows without deleting anything?

Have you tried booting into safe mode? Sometimes that can help you get past the frozen screen and see if you can troubleshoot further.

I'm not sure if I saw that option. I only see the frozen screen currently. Should I try powering off and turning it back on to check?
