Help! My PC Keeps Crashing with ‘Out of Video Memory’ Errors

Hey everyone, I'm having a lot of trouble with my PC while gaming. Some games like League of Legends and Marvel Rivals run smoothly, but for months now, I've hit a wall with others. I'm getting frequent crashes when compiling shaders in games like Marvel Rivals, Abiotic Factor, Elder Scrolls Oblivion remake, and Starfield. The error message says 'Out of Video Memory,' and this happens even when transitioning between zones. I've experienced random crashes and bluescreens, and honestly, I'm at my wit's end. Here's what I've tried so far: reseating my GPU, doing a fresh Windows reinstall, running sfc/scannow, and reseating my RAM. I really appreciate any help or insights you all can provide. Thanks!

Here's the setup I'm working with:
Processor: Intel Core i7 14700KF
GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC 24GB
RAM: 64GB DDR4
Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z790-P CSM DDR4

It sounds like you might need to check for any dump files to analyze those BSODs better. If you can access Windows normally or even in Safe Mode, navigate to C:WindowsMinidump. Look for any files there. If you’ve got some, create a zipped folder of those files and upload it using a file-sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. It’s always good to have multiple dump files for better analysis, so make sure to follow the guide to set up small memory dumps if you need more. It could help us diagnose the problem better!

I think you might be dealing with issues related to your CPU. 13th and 14th Gen Intel CPUs have been known to have their share of problems. Have you considered contacting the seller or Intel for a replacement? It might be worth looking into if you can get it sorted!

Yeah, I’ve heard that too. Do you have any suggestions for a solid replacement for my current setup?
