Help! My PC Keeps Restarting While Gaming – WHEA Error Insights

I've been having this frustrating issue where my PC randomly restarts while I'm gaming. There's no BSOD, it just shuts down and restarts. I've checked the Event Viewer and noticed a lot of WHEA Error event ID 19, which states that a corrected hardware error has occurred. The error is reported by the 'Processor Core' with a 'Bus/Interconnect Error'. My processor ID is 0. Initially, I thought it might be the power supply unit (PSU), but now I'm considering it could be a CPU issue. For reference, my specs are: Ryzen 5 5600X, NVIDIA 3060Ti, 32GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM, and a 600W Kolink Bronze PSU. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to look into checking your RAM as well. Sometimes faulty memory can cause random restarts. Since you've recently upgraded to 32GB, ensure everything is seated properly and consider running a memory diagnostic tool to check for any issues with the new sticks.

True, a memory issue can sneak in after upgrades. Also, if you have any spare RAM, trying a different configuration could help isolate the problem!

It sounds like a hardware issue for sure. First, you might want to check your temp readings to see if overheating is causing the restarts. If everything looks good with the temps, you’re right to consider the PSU. A 600W unit seems a bit light for a gaming rig with your specs, especially under load. It might be worth testing with a higher wattage PSU if you can borrow one.

Good point about the PSU! Also, have you thought about running some stress tests on your CPU? That could help pinpoint whether it's a CPU stability issue or something else.
