I'm facing an issue where my PC shuts down entirely while I'm playing Battlefield 6—like someone abruptly pulled the power plug. The monitor goes black, the speakers remain on, and the whole system just powers off. I've been playing for about two hours when this occurred. After booting back up, I checked the event viewer, but the only thing noted was a kernel power error indicating that power was lost, without any specifics to identify the cause. I monitored the temperatures, and everything seemed perfectly normal. This is a new build from December, and it's the first time I've experienced this. I also ran a Cinebench benchmark under stress last week without issues. Here are my specs: Windows 11, Nvidia RTX 4070, Corsair RMX1000 PSU, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Kingston 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a couple of 500GB SSDs plus a 1TB NVMe drive. If anyone has insight or solutions, I'd really appreciate it!

Make sure to check your power cables at both ends. Battlefield 6 is quite a power-hungry game, and even with a 1000W PSU, a loose cable can lead to the shutdown you described. My friend had a similar issue with his 4080, and once he reseated all the connections, it never happened again.
Have you thought about updating your BIOS? Sometimes outdated BIOS settings can lead to unexpected shutdowns like this. It’s definitely worth a shot!
I haven't updated the BIOS since the build. I’ll give it a try when I get home. Do you really think the BIOS can cause a complete shutdown like that, though? My temps seem fine.
Is this shutdown a one-time occurrence or have there been more? Your message suggests it happened just once, right?
Yeah, it was the first time. I did some digging and found others with similar issues in BF6, so I'm hoping it’s just the game.

Fingers crossed it’s something that simple! I’ll check everything out when I get home.
