I recently swapped out my old Ryzen 3600 for a new Ryzen 5600XT along with its Wraith Stealth cooler. Both CPUs have the same TDP of 65W, so I thought it would be a straightforward swap. However, now when I power on the system, the lights come on and the CPU fan spins, but none of my other fans (intake/exhaust) are spinning, and one fan doesn't even light up. Worst of all, the system won't post to the BIOS and isn't sending any video output. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

It sounds like your motherboard might need a BIOS update. Many older motherboards that support the 3000 series CPUs require an update to work with the newer 5000 series. If that's the case, you'll need to put the 3600 back in to boot up and update the BIOS before swapping back to the 5600XT.

So I should definitely put the 3600 back in first, update the BIOS, and then swap to the 5600XT? That sounds like a plan!
