I built my PC back in 2020, and today I've run into a strange issue: my RAM usage is super high, but it looks like not much memory is actually being used. I've got 2x8GB RAM sticks, so I'm wondering if maybe one isn't functioning properly. This problem is really affecting my gaming performance—I'm getting around 20 FPS or less! Can anyone help me figure out why my RAM usage is hitting 99%? Here's a screenshot of my Task Manager for reference.

Sounds like classic Windows issues at play. Sometimes, it just acts up. Checking your RAM sticks for proper installation and detection is a great first step.
From what you've shared, your RAM usage looks normal, but having more RAM used can help speed things up. What games are you having trouble with? Also, have you checked if both RAM sticks are functioning and recognized by your system? That could definitely be the root of your problem.
Make sure to check the performance tab in Task Manager. Does it show that all 16GB of RAM is being recognized? Sometimes the system doesn't detect both sticks properly, which might be causing your issues.
Huh, that's weird! It shows 16GB, but only 8GB is in use. What could be the issue?
I've tried playing Watch Dogs 2 and GTA 5, and both of them are under 20 FPS. I'll look into the RAM detection!
