Hey folks, I've got a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15ARH7 with an RTX 3050, but I'm having a major issue. A while back, I had a BIOS problem and took it to a repair shop to get it flashed. It took a week, but when I got it back, my RTX 3050 was no longer detected. In Device Manager, the GPU shows up as 'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter'. I sent it back to the shop, and after a month of trying to fix it, the repair guy said he couldn't find a solution. He re-flashed the BIOS, deleted and reinstalled the GPU drivers, but still nothing. He insists the GPU isn't dead, though. Any suggestions on what I can do next?

Could you share a screenshot of what your Device Manager looks like? That might help pinpoint the issue better!
Have you tried using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)? It can sometimes salvage situations like this by completely removing the old drivers before a fresh install. It sounds like they might have used it already in the shop, but it’s worth a shot if you haven't done it yourself!
Yeah, the repair shop did use DDU to remove the drivers and then reinstall them, but unfortunately, it didn't fix the issue.
Sure! Here's the screenshot: https://preview.redd.it/azuhmdb6di8f1.png?width=964&format=png&auto=webp&s=a58812392fb78a07f36dd0c2cfa7f89ddf0c4261
