I recently bought a new MSI Thin A15 laptop and I'm trying to install Windows 11, but I'm having trouble with my SSD. Initially, it didn't show up during the installation process. I checked the BIOS and confirmed the SSD is recognized there. After a while, the SSD appeared, but I ran into an issue saying I couldn't install Windows on that partition. I'm looking for some help to sort this out!

It’s kind of strange getting drivers loaded when there’s no OS installed on the device. Typically, you wouldn't have the ability to install drivers without a functional operating system. Maybe double-check the steps you're taking?
Just to add to that, since it’s a new laptop with no data on it, you should be able to delete all the partitions without worries. Just select your SSD during installation, delete everything, and then choose to install on the unallocated space.
I completely understand your frustration. If you're seeing your SSD in BIOS, things are looking good! Though, if you're planning to use your drive for dual booting or have existing data on other partitions, it’s best to back everything up first. The easiest way to solve this is to wipe all the partitions on the SSD, as long as you don't have important data on it. After that, try the installation again on the whole drive, and worry about drivers later once you’re in Windows.
