Help! My SSDs Keep Getting Unrecognized, What Should I Do?

I'm having a tough time getting my SSDs to work properly. I've tried two different SATA SSDs, a Samsung 870 and a WD SA510, but they keep failing and becoming unrecognized. I've followed several YouTube tutorials, but nothing seems to help. Every time I unplug and plug them back in, I end up in this frustrating loop where they work for about 10 minutes before going unrecognized again. It's really disheartening!

I was thinking about getting the ORICO 2.5 SATA enclosure, but honestly, if you’ve already tried a couple of SSDs, it’s probably not just the drives. It might be better to look into the SATA cables or even consider if the motherboard's SATA controller is causing the problem.

Before you invest in another SSD, check those cables! Sometimes it’s just a bad connection. If that doesn’t work, your motherboard might just need an upgrade to handle newer SSDs better.

Have you checked what motherboard you're using? Sometimes, it could be the motherboard causing issues with the drives.

Yeah, I have a B450M S2H V2. I've updated the BIOS, but the weird thing is, my old WD HDD works just fine, so I don't know why the SSDs aren't being recognized. Could my motherboard just be too old for the SSDs?
