I've got a PNY 512GB USB, and despite trying to fix it for days, it's still acting up. It's got a PlayStation 5 folder on it, and I can't seem to delete it. I've even used administrator commands, but nothing seems to work. I'm on a tight budget and can't access premium support sites for help.

You might want to try cleaning the USB drive using the diskpart tool. If that doesn't resolve the issue, it could be that the drive is faulty.
Have you considered formatting the USB? Sometimes that can help clear out any stubborn files or issues.
I attempted formatting it to read-only to delete unwanted files, but I got a warning about third-party software. It's been a while since I tried.
If it's brand new and still being read by your laptop, maybe there's still hope! But definitely check diskpart.
