Help! My Website is Down Due to Misdirected Request Error

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my website (www.hansramzan.com), which is currently hosted on A2 Hosting and routed through Cloudflare. It was working perfectly fine yesterday, but now it's down and I haven't made any changes on my end. The error message I'm seeing is a 'Misdirected Request', which says the client needs a new connection because the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI).

Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks! Also, I've noticed that A2 Hosting seems to be having a global issue and they're working on it right now, but any tips while I wait? Should I disable DNS on Cloudflare?

Looks like your site is throwing a 421 status code, which indicates a 'Misdirected Request'. It usually means that the request is hitting a server that can't produce a response for the given hostname. I'd suggest reaching out to A2 Hosting first to see if your web server is receiving traffic correctly. Also, double-check your Cloudflare settings to ensure it’s configured properly to send traffic to your server.

I experienced the same error recently, and it turned out to be an Apache update issue in Plesk. You might want to check if something similar is happening on your end. Contact your hosting provider; they should be able to fix it for you.

I have a similar setup and I'm facing the same issue. I noticed you mentioned your problem might have been fixed? Did you file a ticket with A2 Hosting? I'm still dealing with the error on my site.

Yeah, I submitted a support ticket. They said they're working on it. It seems like a widespread issue related to conflicts between recent updates in Plesk and Apache.
