I'm having issues with my Windows Security app on Windows 11. Whenever I open it, all I see is a black window, and there's a message about IT Administrator permissions. This is my personal PC, so I'm not sure what's going on. I did use a program called Falcon to remove some "extra Windows apps," which I think might be causing this problem. Can anyone help?

If you're still having trouble, consider running the System File Checker. It might repair any corrupted system files that are causing this. If that doesn’t work, try running an offline virus scan to see if there's any malware lurking around.

You might want to check if your Windows is fully updated. Just go to the settings and see if there are any pending updates. A simple restart after updating can do wonders!

I’ve already ensured it’s updated, including all optional updates.

A clean install of Windows might be the safest route if none of the above works. That way, you start fresh without any questionable software messing things up. Just make sure to back up your data first!

It sounds like the app may have taken a hit from the software you used. Maybe dig a bit deeper into what that program actually removed. Sometimes, trying new apps without reading up on them first can lead to issues like this.
