Seeking Advice for My Gaming PC Build

I'm looking to build a gaming PC with an AMD 5950X, an RTX 3060, 64GB of DDR4 RAM, and a B550M motherboard. I also plan to include a 360mm AIO cooler and around 1TB of storage, since I don't need a lot of space. My primary use will be CPU-intensive tasks. I'm unsure about the rest of the setup like the power supply, monitor, case, and maybe some extra fans. Any tips or suggestions on these components, as well as brands to consider, would be greatly appreciated! My total budget is $3,000.

First off, what's your actual budget for the full build? If you're sticking to about $3k, I’d recommend looking into the Core Ultra 7 265K, which is around the same price but offers better performance for your needs. Just keep in mind that you'd need a DDR5 motherboard with it, though you can still use the RTX 3060. A clearer budget would really help tailor the advice!

Oh yeah, I totally meant to say 5950X instead. Thanks for catching that! And yes, my budget is up to $3k.

But just a heads up, Arrow Lake motherboards might be pricier, so that's probably why you considered sticking with AM4.

For the power supply, definitely check the PSU Tier List and aim for at least a Tier C rating. For the case, look at popular budget options on pcpartpicker.com; there are many solid choices out there. If your case doesn’t come with enough built-in fans, get some affordable daisy chainable fans—Thermalright has some great ones. And for your monitor, since you’ll be doing productivity work, aim for at least 1440p; working at 1080p can be quite limiting.

Thanks for all these suggestions! I'll definitely look into them.
