I've been struggling for the past three days trying to install various Linux distributions on my computer. I reach the GRUB screen (I believe that's what it's called) when I attempt to boot from a USB, whether it's MX Linux or Nobara, but when I select an option and hit enter, my PC just restarts instead of loading the OS. I've disconnected all external devices except for the USB stick, and even rearranged my RAM, but nothing works. At one point, I did see an error screen before this restarting issue began, and I'm really confused about whether it's related or if I've somehow gone backward in my progress. I'm feeling pretty exhausted and could really use some help figuring this out!

You mentioned seeing an error screen before the restarts started happening. What did it say? That could give us some clues about what's going wrong.
Hey! First off, could you share your system specs? Also, were you able to navigate using the arrow keys in GRUB? If so, try selecting different options, particularly any compatibility mode if it's available. Another tip is to use a different USB stick or switch to a USB 2.0 port since it might be more compatible, even though it's slower.
